Learn how to apply a ceramic coating to your car! In this video, I show you all the steps needed to properly prepare your car’s paint and how to protect your paint with ceramic coatings. Ceramic coatings are a form of paint protection, like carnauba waxes and paint sealants, but they have better durability. Carnauba waxes typically last 2-3 months and synthetic paint sealants last 5-6 months on average. Consumer level ceramic coatings last 1 to 2 years if well maintained. Professional grade coatings can last upwards of 2 years, all the way up to 7 years. Ceramic coatings are highly hydrophobic, meaning they repel water extremely well. Ceramic coatings also have self-cleaning properties, meaning your paint will keep itself clean of dirt, much more than traditional waxes or sealants. They also add a lot of gloss to your car’s paint. Here's a recap of the main advantages of ceramic coatings: - extreme durability (1 to 2 years for commercial versions) - amazing gloss - extremely hydrophobic, so water beads and sheets off the paint - self-cleaning properties make the car easier to wash - UV protection Ceramic coatings are also known as glass coatings and nano coatings. They pretty much are mean the same thing, as the main active component in them is silica (SiO2) which forms a glass layer on your car's paint, giving it protection and gloss. For the purposes of this video, I will apply what I believe to be one of the best ceramic coatings (one of the best glass coatings) available to the public, the CarPro CQuartz UK Edition on my own BMW 435i xDrive Gran Coupe M Sport. Gyeon Quartz also make a great ceramic coating in the form of their Mohs coating. Both products are easy to apply, easy to remove. If you follow the steps in this video carefully, you'll learn how to apply a ceramic coating to your car and you'll protect your paint with ceramic coatings. ►Here are some links to the products used in this video, as well as my recommendations to high quality user friendly ceramic coatings: ►US buyers: CarPro CQuartz: http://amzn.to/2tSoLEr CarPro CQuartz UK Edition (50 mL kit): http://amzn.to/2tov53i CarPro CQuartz UK Edition (30 mL kit): http://amzn.to/2toxjzn CarPro Eraser (IPA mix): http://amzn.to/2uiQFun CarPro Reset shampoo: http://amzn.to/2unUJsV CarPro Reload silica spray sealant: http://amzn.to/2tosYMG CarPro IronX iron remover: http://amzn.to/2totvOC CarPro TarX tar remover: http://amzn.to/2sZVlkQ The Rag Company 365 GSM microfiber towels: http://amzn.to/2uiQBe0 Gyeon Mohs ceramic coating kit: http://amzn.to/2toMdG9 Gyeon Can Coat spray coating (easy to apply): http://amzn.to/2t08Fpo Gyeon Bathe shampoo: http://amzn.to/2unItIS Gyeon Prep (IPA mix): http://amzn.to/2tomHkf Gyeon Cure spray sealant: http://amzn.to/2tUYZO8 Gyeon Iron remover: http://amzn.to/2toHYKr Gyeon Tar remover: http://amzn.to/2unQQEd ►Canada buyers: CarPro CQuartz: http://amzn.to/2unWDtt CarPro CQuartz UK Edition: http://amzn.to/2uj22CK CarPro Reload silica spray sealant: http://amzn.to/2t07VAC CarPro Eraser (IPA mix): http://amzn.to/2sZz2Mt CarPro Reset shampoo: http://amzn.to/2ujaWA5 CarPro IronX iron remover: http://amzn.to/2toXndL ►UK buyers: CarPro CQuartz ceramic coatings: http://amzn.to/2tSvRZP CarPro Eraser (IPA mix): http://amzn.to/2v10Oth CarPro IronX iron remover: http://amzn.to/2tUz1dR CarPro TarX tar remover: http://amzn.to/2vmr9Bg CarPro Reset maintenance shampoo: http://amzn.to/2vmf5jD CarPro Reload silica spray sealant: http://amzn.to/2vmarSN Gyeon Mohs ceramic coating: http://amzn.to/2vm3JMu Gyeon Bathe shampoo: http://amzn.to/2vm39OX Gyeon Cure spray sealant: http://amzn.to/2tovaDU Gyeon Prep (IPA mix): http://amzn.to/2tSwmDb ►France buyers: CarPro CQuartz protection céramique: http://amzn.to/2v1r8mP CarPro IronX nettoyant pour particules de fer: http://amzn.to/2toXoye CarPro TarX dégoudronnant: http://amzn.to/2uiLdry CarPro Eraser (alcool isopropylique): http://amzn.to/2uiTCer CarPro Reset (savon): http://amzn.to/2tUJTZe CarPro Reload (scellant spray): http://amzn.to/2vm76Ty Gyeon CanCoat protection céramique en spray, facile à appliquer: http://amzn.to/2tShrZn Gyeon Prep (alcool isopropylique): http://amzn.to/2vlT8Rx Gyeon Iron nettoyant pour particules de fer: http://amzn.to/2vm97zh Gyeon bathe (savon): http://amzn.to/2v1mZQ2 Gyeon Cure (scellant spray): http://amzn.to/2tSnltN If you liked this video, click on the thumbs up button. The Nissan Lannia — the brand’s first model tailored specifically to the Chinese market — debuted at the Ford Taurus Receives Fresh Design in Shanghai”
Nissan is aiming the oddly styled sedan at young buyers in their 20s and 30s. “Edging forward is not enough. The market in China is moving very fast, especially with the post-1980s generation,” said Titus Liu, creative design manager at Nissan Design China, in a release. “They do not want to stick with the status quo, so we are dedicated to finding the next great breakthrough.”
The Lannia borrows bold design cues from the 2016 Nissan Maxima, but taken to the extreme. It sports a large nose, V-motion grille design, wide haunches, and geometric body lines similar to those of the full-size sedan. Peek around to the back, however, and the design becomes more polarizing. Inside, Nissan has filled the cabin with features that give it an athletic look, including a red dashboard and contrast stitching, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and a large 7.0-inch multimedia screen.
The Lannia’s evolution first began two years ago in Shanghai when Nissan introduced the Friend-ME concept car. Looking at that model, you’ll notice a similar grille design but exceptionally sleek proportions. In 2014, the Lannia Concept built off the Friend-Me concept and grew to look a lot like the final production car. Watch the video below for a closer look at the Nissan Lannia and its market.
