7 Things You Shouldn't Do In an Automatic Transmission Car

Do you drive a car with an automatic transmission? 🚕 The interface of automatic vehicles is often simpler, and new drivers don't have to struggle with a seemingly unruly stick shift and clutch. But there are still some ways you can mess up your transmission. Here are 7 of the most dangerous mistakes you can make when driving an automatic! 📣 TIMESTAMPS: Don't shift from "drive" to "reverse" before your car stops moving 1:06 Never put your car in "park" before it stops completely 1:55 Don't put it in "neutral" at stop lights 2:56 Don't coast in "neutral" 3:53 Never “launch” your car from a standstill 4:44 Avoid keeping the gas tank on low 5:48 Do not let water get in the transmission 6:31 #automatictransmission #drivinghacks #drivingtips Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - If your brakes wear down, replacing them will cost you around $200. But by constantly shifting from "drive" to "reverse" while the car’s still rolling, get ready for damage that can run you at least $2,500. - When you throw it in “park,” a pin locks the transmission output shaft, which connects it to the wheels of your car. But if the car’s still rolling when you do this, either the locking pin or the output shaft may break or become eroded. - It's better to keep your car in "drive" than to switch it to "neutral" when stopped at a light. First of all, when your car’s in "neutral," you don't have as much control over it. So if you need to make some emergency maneuver, you may not be able to execute it in time. - Cars with automatic engines are designed in such a way that they save fuel even if the gear is in "drive." They simply cut the fuel supply when you're going downhill. - Plenty of drivers launch their cars all the time. This causes serious harm to the bands and clutches of the automatic transmission. When you shift, they use friction to move definite parts. - Ignoring the low fuel light may eventually cost you much more than just filling your tank up, especially if your car has an automatic transmission. - If water gets into the transmission, you're in big trouble. Even the smallest amount of water, just an ounce, can wreak havoc on your car’s transmission to the point that it needs replaced. Heinkel Kabine - After WWII, Germany wasn’t exactly awash with resources. They therefore had to get clever by making do with less. The solution? Use three wheels instead of four. Peel Trident - The Isle of Man is a tiny British island whose flag is made up of three joined legs – which probably explains our next microcar. Tata Airpod - Cars that run on compressed air have been around for a while – the French were the first to have them in the late 19th century. Lumeneo Smera - What do you get when you combine a car with a motorcycle? Something only the French would think of. Brütsch Mopetta - Going back to Germans, microcars, and three wheels, there’s the Brütsch Mopetta – named after its easy-to-pronounce designer, Egon Brütsch Fahrzeugbau, which explains why everyone just calls him “Brütsch.” Renault Twizy - Want an actual microcar that’s environmentally-friendly and currently available? Myers Motors NmG - Ever fantasized about riding around in a banana? Then look no further than Myers Motors NmG’s “Sparrow” – though fans prefer “NmG.” BMW Isetta - The “BMW” tells you it’s German, but the “Isetta” tells you it was Italian built. Impressive though that sounds, it has its limitations. Peel P50 - According to the 2010 Guinness World Records, this is officially the world’s smallest car. Pea Car - If driving a banana isn’t your thing, then how about peas?

10 Driving Hacks That'll Make You Spend Less On Gas

How to spend less money on gas? How to drive a car easily and safely? There is a direct connection between mileage and the frequency of maintenance services. Here are 10 brilliant driving hacks and secrets that will help you save gas money and drive your car like a pro. TIMESTAMPS - Why is gas so expensive? 0:54 - Don’t put the pedal to the metal 2:20 - Use cruise control on the highway 3:18 - Undergo servicing on time 4:04 - Turn off the air conditioning 4:58 - Make your route logistically efficient 5:47 - Don’t drive when it rains 6:34 - Monitor your tire pressure 7:24 - Remove unnecessary weight 8:04 - Keep an eye on gas prices 8:35 - Always stay alert on the road 9:11 SUMMARY Why is gas so expensive? Because oil is? That’s right. Crude oil, to be precise. It makes up 72 of gasoline price. We pay the remaining 28 percent for distribution, refining, and taxes. The reasons for gas prices to rise are the weakening dollar, natural disasters and simple rules of supply and demand. Prices rise when demand is bigger than supply. Prices usually drop down in the winter when fewer people are traveling across the country. We can hardly affect any of the things we just mentioned. But we can affect our choice when buying a car. Some cars are less fuel-efficient than others. But we still love them and want to have them. They are ultra high-end luxury cars and large vans and SUVs. Sports cars are already very expensive themselves and also require you to feed their turbocharged engines, which create more horsepower. If you don’t have a sports car, but paying for gas is still a nightmare, then you probably own one of the best-selling cars in America. Toyota Camry, Corolla, Prius and Honda Civic, Accord and CR-V. Give this video a “thumbs up” if we guessed it right.
