This video discusses performance of the Toyota Tacoma in snow and ice. Pickups have a poor reputation because of the lack of weight in the back - is the Tacoma any different?
Things I didn't mention. The Tacoma has a GoPro Mount on the top of the windshield. It's the only car I know that comes with one. The back seats also fold up giving you more room to haul supplies. The Toyota Tacoma, redesigned in 2016, has stuck closely to its formula for two decades. The new design involves a more chiseled and sportier look with better gas mileage, and more options. The newest Tacoma has plenty of appeal for those shoppers who don't want the bulk or inconvenience of a regular full-size pickup and or want a super dependable, , ultra reliable and one of the slowest depreciating trucks. Knowing the TRD Sport was the most road-friendly of the TRD options, I expected an engaging, smooth drive. And it is engaging. That V6 pulls cleanly, is impeccably smooth and sounds respectably nice, too. The lower-profile tires also give the Tacoma relatively good turn-in feel and the six-speed shifter is commendably slick -- though the throws are every bit as long as you'd expect in a truck. Location: Sacramento, California Car's Owner: Bruce Thanks for letting me review your bad ass truck! MODS: Light Bar, Black Grill, Ceramic Pro Camera: Samsung Note 8 BTW, there is no V4 available. My mistake, it's an Inline 4 Cylinder.

Our Tacoma crawl control video has received muck skepticism about the technology and the truck's capabilities. This video puts that argument to rest.

We compared 2 wheel drive VS 4 High and low along with crawl control. To keep it fair the tests were done under about 5mph and each test I got farther up the hill. Only two modes made it, 4 low with locking rear and crawl control. This is such a capable vehicle in the stock form, can't wait for lift and tires!
