Please officially welcome Terry to the Yiannimize family as he does his first Intro & Outro. The female owner was very happy with the finished look, but what's reallllly important to us is what you guys think. For those who are impassioned in cars
Da ist das DING! ;) Today I can present to you some first and close up footage of the delivery of my new 2015 / 2016 MINI John Cooper Works from MINI in Nürnberg. Special thanks go to the team in Nürnberg that captured the delivery, cleaning & polishing of the car, a big thumps up from my end!!! The first 300 km I did yesterday were very convincing that I picked a great car for the next time. Especially the ride comfort and the low rpm torque of the engine are the first two things that really exceeded my expectations. Please make sure to stay tuned for more footage like pure SOUND, ACCELERATION, and DRIVE & SOUND coming over the course of the summer. Cheers!

The MINI John Cooper Works GP Concept: Racing without compromise. MINI presents design study at the IAA Cars 2017. The BMW Group has chosen the IAA Cars 2017 show in Frankfurt a. M. to present the modern racing essence of a MINI – in the shape of the MINI John Cooper Works GP Concept. Inspired by the carmaker’s legendary triumphs in the Monte Carlo Rally exactly 50 years ago, this design study embodies undiluted dynamic flair and the ultimate in driving fun – on both the race track and the road.
While the Mini isn't exactly small anymore, it's still far from being a big car. It's a surprisingly sporty, and nicely upscale inside. This might be a Mini, but it's not cheap.
There isn't really much that competes with this car, everything else is either bigger or less premium. And nothing else offers as much style and flair as the Mini. The Minis have a range of engines with power ranging from fun to fast, and more paint and customization than almost anything else.
Introduced for 2014, the latest Mini Cooper hasn't seen many changes since then. For 2018, there are some small retail changes and the Mini sees a revised fuel gauge, as well as new windshield wiper and turn signal stalks.
The Mini 3 door is available in Cooper, sportier Cooper S, and full-on hot hatch John Cooper Works. The base Mini Cooper is powered by a 1.5L three-cylinder turbocharged engine that makes 134 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque. Transmission choices include a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic.
The Cooper S uses a 2.0L four-cylinder version of the same engine family and boosts power to 189 hp and 207 lb-ft. The John Cooper Works model ups the power level even more, to 228 hp and 236 lb-ft. The four-cylinder cars get the same transmission options.
The Cooper comes well equipped with dynamic cruise control and a leather-wrapped wheel. Option packs include the Essentials pack that adds a panoramic roof, heated seats, and front fog lights. A loaded pack adds sport seats, and automatic wipers. LED headlights are optional, as is navigation via an 8.8-inch touchscreen. Parking assistant is available, and the Mini has a choice of colours and trims including a contrasting roof.
Cooper S adds the sport seats as standard, along with sport driving mode and performance control. The Cooper S can add the same options and packages as the Cooper, but also gets a JCW package option. That adds 18-inch wheels, a John Cooper Works body kit, rear spoiler, and special steering wheel. The John Cooper Works stand-alone model offers sportier JCW seats, 17-inch alloys, and a sport suspension. It also has LED lights standard as well as the JCW body kit. The other option packages are available.
Fuel economy for the Mini Cooper three-door is rated at 8.5 L/100 km city, 6.2 highway for the manual and 8.8/6.8 for the automatic. The Cooper S and John Cooper Works are rated at 10.2/7.3 city/highway with the manual, 9.3/7.2 with the automatic.
