Toyota C-HR SUV 2018 in-depth review | Mat Watson Reviews

Looking for a car with space aged looks that is guaranteed to make you stand out from the crowed? The Toyota C-HR has you covered with it’s sharp edges, and eye-catching design. In comparison to rivals such as the Nissan Qashqai or Renault Kadjar, the Toyota C-HR certainly has plenty of character, but does it perform as good as it looks? It comes equipped with the standard Toyota range of trim starting in Icon, and upgrading to Excel and Dynamic, so could this be the stylish SUV for you? Find out in my detailed video review. 2018 Toyota C-HR Model Review | Edmunds

Our experts review the 2018 Toyota C-HR. For Edmunds Senior Writer Mark Takahashi, the all-new 2018 Toyota C-HR is not an easy car to review. Its flamboyant style, CVT and interior leave him conflicted. It's definitely not a fast car, hitting 60 mph at 10.6 seconds at the test track, making it the sixth slowest car we've ever tested. But Mark takes a close look at Toyota's subcompact crossover SUV, from its styling to drive to interior. Watch the video to see his verdict. Q: How much is the Toyota C-HR? A: The 2018 Toyota C-HR starts at $23,495 for the base XLE trim. The XLE Premium starts at $25,345. That higher price adds features such as power-folding mirrors, blind-spot monitoring and heated front seats. Q: What kind of engine does the 2018 Toyota C-HR have? A: The 2018 Toyota C-HR has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 144 horsepower. Those numbers are right in there with the competition, but it doesn't use the power as well as rivals. Q: How big is the Toyota C-HR's cargo area? A: The 2018 Toyota C-HR's cargo space behind the second row measures 19 cubic feet, about average for the class. It expands to 36.4 cubes with the seats folded. Top 10 things about the #Toyota CHR crossover / suv

The 2018 Toyota CHR is brand new with features not found on other Toyota vehicles. Check out the Top 10 Things You Didn't Know about the Toyota C-HR. Click "show more" for notables. Toyota CHR crossover or Toyota CHR suv? I think this compact suv packs awesome value for to price. There are two choices with the Toyota C-HR XLE and C-HR XLE Premium. The premium adds blind spot monitor, rear cross traffic alert, sport wheels and auto power folding mirrors. Some notables that didn't make it on the Toyota CHR feature list are the: Electric Parking Brake. This is a first for Toyota. This feature will disengage the parking brake when "Drive" is selected. The Toyota CHR is built on the Toyota New Global Architecture body. This platform improves safety by deflecting energy around the occupants rather than through them. Driving performance is noticeably better with this platform. Try test driving a Prius pre and post 2016 to see what I am referring to. New Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT). The Toyota CHR transmission is more advanced with 7 virtual speeds. The experience is unlike any CVT to date. Hope you enjoyed this video. If so please give a thumbs up and leave some comments.
