The design of the Concept Study Mission E

No matter what we build, it will always be a sports car. A fact readily apparent when looking at the design of our Concept Study Mission E. Get behind the scenes of the Porsche Design Studio in this video to learn more about the exterior and interior design.

Wow!!! Porsche Mission E 2019 Finally Revealed

Porsche Mission E represents the fascinating future. This concept shows what the first purely electric sports car in the brand’s history could look like. And how it meets every Porsche standard in terms of performance, fuel efficiency, driving dynamics, excellence interior and exerior, and everyday racticality—based on revolutionary technology. And of course with a timeless, elegant, aesthetic form. In other words, it is the 911 of e-cars. Mission E doesn’t just make one statement, but several at once. Porsche’s first all-electric car will release at the end of 2019, the car maker revealed at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, with pricing similar to the current Porsche Panamera, so likely starting around at least $80,000 or so in the U.S. Porsche is definitely considering three Mission E models tentatively rated at 300 kW/402 hp, 400 kW/536 hp, and 500 kW/670 hp with badging that will mirror current lineup offerings. All-wheel drive will initially be standard equipment, but Porsche might later offer an entry-level rear-drive version. The front-wheel-drive module reportedly delivers 160 kW/215 hp at 16,000 rpm with a constant peak torque of 221 lb-ft. At full boost, Porsche can briefly claim some 325 lb-ft. There are two different specifications in the works for the rear-drive unit. While the base motor is rated at 240 kW/322 hp and 251 lb-ft, the performance version is good for 320 kW/429 hp and 406 lb-ft, sources say. #AutosportMadness #CarEnthusiast Help us to be better - Subscribe This Channel : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZ5u84jF_OXQEZyOGxEGjgw - Backsound Free Royalty Lisence by bensound.com

2019 Porsche Mission E-Cross Turismo REVIEW - All You Need To Know

Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo: the electric athlete for an active lifestyle With the Mission E Cross Turismo, Porsche will be unveiling the concept study of an electrically driven Cross Utility Vehicle (CUV) at the Geneva Motor Show. This car has many talents and is aimed at people who like to spend their free time travelling, playing sport and pursuing other outdoor activities. Thanks to all-wheel drive, every ski slope is easy to reach, while the flexible interior creates space for all kinds of sports equipment and modern load-carrying systems facilitate the transport of surfboards or a Porsche e-bike. The strengths of the four-door four-seater include an emotional design with striking off-road elements as well as an innovative display and operating concept with touchscreen and eye-tracking control. Measuring 4.95 metres in length, the concept vehicle has all-wheel drive and an 800-volt architecture, prepared for connection to the fast charging network. It can also be charged by induction, at a charging station or using the Porsche home energy storage system. The road-ready Mission E Cross Turismo builds on the Mission E study Porsche demonstrated at the 2015 International Motor Show (IAA) and uses elements that are close to series production. -The design: unmistakable Porsche DNA A low-cut bonnet between heavily curved wings: the front of the Mission E Cross Turismo reveals its relationship to the sports car icon Porsche 911 at first glance. Vertical air inlets in the front, known as air curtains, are a distinctive design feature. Another stylistic highlight are the matrix LED headlights. The brand’s typical four-point daytime running lights have evolved into narrow, three-dimensional glass elements. Embedded in four sweeping wings, these also contain an innovative four-point indicator light. At the same time, the vehicle has high-performance full beams with Porsche X-Sight technology. The off-road design elements include robust wheel arch protection and door sills, a striking front spoiler and lower rear and increased ground clearance. The silhouette is defined by a sporty roofline that slopes off to the rear, which Porsche designers refer to as a ‘flyline’. This is reminiscent of the rear of the Panamera Sport Turismo. Equally distinctive for the brand is the dynamic shape of the side windows. The broad wings and three-dimensional side panels with air outlets behind the front wheels reinforce the sporty crossover character of the concept car, which is 1.99 metres wide. Other distinctive features include the eye-catching side door sills with their off-road appearance and 20-inch wheels with 275/40 R 20 tyres. Even from behind, the study can immediately be recognised as a Porsche with its exclusively light grey metallic paintwork. In addition to its sporty design and air-channelling roof spoiler, the continuous light strip is a typical feature. The luminescent white Porsche logo is composed of glass letters embedded in a three-dimensional cover with a circuit board design. During charging, the ‘E’ in the Porsche logo pulsates, and the circuit board is brought to life by pulses of light. This makes the flow of energy impressively visual for the customer. A large panoramic glass roof extending from the windscreen to the boot lid ensures a generous sense of space. Porsche Mission E With Mark Webber

The new magazine “Edison” from the Handelsblatt publishing house includes news and background on future energy and mobility. The first edition features Mark Webber and the Porsche Mission E. Thomas Edison was a founder and inventor, but also a visionary. His name is synonymous with some truly epochal changes in the fields of electricity generation and distribution. His list of achievements includes the light bulb, the electricity meter, the rechargeable galvanic cell and many other creations. The electrification of New York – which was led by Edison– and the introduction of electric lighting are considered to be particular milestones in the process of industrialisation. And right back at the beginning of the 20th century, he even drove an electric car. Edison’s work can best be described as forward-thinking and technophilic. Now, the Handelsblatt publishing house is releasing the new magazine “Edison”, featuring content that follows the vision of this great inventor. One focus area in its reports will be to present new products and services relating to mobility and the energy supply of the future. It will discuss and test new vehicles and energy solutions. The first edition will be released in Germany on September 8 and the cover will feature Mark Webber and the Mission E. As the first purely electric Porsche, its “E-Performance” concept combines strong driving performance with a high degree of everyday usability. At the photoshoot, Mark Webber talks about the Porsche of the future and the relationship between motorsport and the development of new technologies.
