2019 Ford Mustang GT - interior Exterior and Drive | World Car The sixth-generation Ford Mustang is entering its fifth year on the market and there's plenty that awaits you in showrooms if you haven't pulled the trigger yet. Speaking of triggers, the big news for 2019 is the arrival of a new Mustang Bullitt. The car celebrates this year's 50th anniversary of the movie “Bullitt” and comes with a unique 475-horsepower version of the Mustang GT's 5.0-liter V-8. The car has also been fitted with additional performance upgrades, and naturally it can be ordered in Dark Highland Green. Also arriving for 2019 is the Mustang GT California Special, which is inspired by the Mustang GT/CS dealer special introduced for 1968. The modern car, based on the Mustang GT, gives a nod to the original with a blacked-out grille and a stripe. It doesn't boast any extra power so matches the 460 hp of the stock Mustang GT. Ford has also expanded the color palette for 2019. Taking a leaf out of Dodge's playbook, the Blue Oval has introduced new vintage-inspired colors including Velocity Blue, Need for Green and the Bullitt's aforementioned Dark Highland Green. Other updates include a rev-matching function for Mustang GTs equipped with a six-speed manual; a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system; and an active exhaust system for the Mustang EcoBoost. The range starts with the Mustang EcoBoost, which is powered by a 2.3-liter turbocharged inline-4 delivering 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. The Mustang GT sports a 5.0-liter V-8 with 460 hp and 420 lb-ft. Both models are available with either a six-speed manual or 10-speed automatic, and there are also available performance packs to further sharpen things. #world car Like, Share and Subscribe Channel:http://bit.ly/worldcars Intro by: RavenProDesign http://www.ravenprodesign.com 2019 Ford Mustang, interior, review, new
2019 Bentley Mulsanne - Edition by Mulliner | Wolrd Car THE MULSANNE W.O. EDITION BY MULLINER: A UNIQUE CAR TO MARK AN EXTRAORDINARY MILESTONE Limited edition of 100 Mulsannes to celebrate upcoming centenary Homage to founder W.O. Bentley’s famous final 1930 design Each Mulsanne holds a slice of crankshaft from W.O.’s personal car Mulliner designers take inspiration from golden age of British motoring True collector’s item as Bentley approaches centenary in 2019 Public debut to be at Monterey Car Week (August 24-26) Watch a film about the limited edition at Bentley Motors is demonstrating the beauty of bespoke with a new very special limited edition Mulsanne. The Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner pays homage to the founding father of the company and incorporates a genuine piece of Bentley history in every car. Inside each of the 100 limited edition Mulsannes, a slice of the original crankshaft taken from W.O. Bentley’s personal 8 Litre car decades ago – the last model he designed for Bentley Motors back in 1930 – is displayed. As Bentley approaches its centenary in 2019, Mulliner designers reflected on the last 99 years of an extraordinary British automotive story to imagine the new Mulsanne W.O. Edition. In doing so, they have created a truly unique collector’s item. The Mulsanne W.O. Edition can be specified on any of the three-model Mulsanne range, based on customer preference. Key features include a colour split interior cut from Heritage Hide reflecting the patina of vintage cars, elegant Beluga black wheels, and a stunning cocktail cabinet or bottle cooler featuring a slice of W.O.’s own 8 Litre crankshaft set into the armrest. This special model will make its public debut at Monterey Car Week in California USA in late August, with customer deliveries commencing in 2019 – Bentley’s centenary year. The Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner – A Piece of History The new Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner draws on design cues taken from the 8 Litre – built in an era that has been defined as the ‘golden age’ of motoring in Britain. Just 100 examples will be handcrafted by Mulliner. The interior displays a range of exquisite features inspired by luxury living in the 1930s – key to which is the Mulliner illuminated cocktail cabinet. A marquetry scene on the handcrafted unit – depicting the geometric front matrix grille and headlight of the 8 Litre – reveals a display window, inside which a piece of the crankshaft from W.O. Bentley’s own 8 Litre car is showcased. Just below the machined metal display case is an inscription detailing the significance of the Bentley artefact. To create the marquetry scene, a number of different veneers and materials were used. Four different wood types give contrast and depth to the piece, while aluminium is used to achieve the highlights, signature and geometric pattern. The diamond-like borders that run parallel to each side add to the contemporary look while retaining an art deco feel. The piece is finished with W.O.’s signature. An interior colour split made from luxurious Fireglow Heritage and Fireglow hide is complemented further by Beluga hide detailing and blind stitching. Dark Stain Burr Walnut veneer extends to the minor gauge panel, steering wheel rim and other areas. #world car Like, Share and Subscribe Channel:http://bit.ly/worldcars Intro by: RavenProDesign http://www.ravenprodesign.com Bentley Mulsanne W.O. 2019 BMW 8 Series - PRODUCTION | World Car Start of production for new BMW 8 Series Coupé at BMW Group Plant Dingolfing Launch of luxury-segment model offensive +++ Integration into existing structures +++ Digitalisation of production processes making good progress +++ Dingolfing. At the start of this week, BMW Group Plant Dingolfing began series production of the new BMW 8 Series Coupé, the sportscar that will launch the BMW model offensive in the luxury segment. An amount in the low three-digit-million euro range has been invested in the site in Lower Bavaria in preparation for the new model series. A large number of digital innovations have also been integrated into the production process, including self-driving transport systems and smart devices. Dr. Andreas Wendt, head of BMW Group Plant Dingolfing: “As the plant that builds the BMW 7 Series sedans, BMW Group Plant Dingolfing has outstanding expertise in producing vehicles for the luxury segment. We are optimally prepared for production of the new BMW 8 Series Coupé. I am sure our customers around the world will love this luxury sportscar.” Stefan Schmid, chairman of the Works Council at the Dingolfing location: “I am proud that we will be producing the new BMW 8 Series Coupé at BMW Group Plant Dingolfing. It will consolidate our position as a centre of competence for the luxury class and secure our site’s future.” Smart material mix and flexible production structures Intelligent lightweight construction, with a clever mix of materials, including steel, plastic, aluminium and carbon fibre, is used in the body of the new sportscar. In addition to the supporting structures at the front and rear of the vehicle, other components, such as the roof, doors, bonnet and the front firewall of the all-new BMW 8 Series Coupé, are made of aluminium. For the first time in a series-production BMW model, the roof is available in carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) – which is also manufactured at the Dingolfing location in an innovative wet-pressing process. Thanks to the BMW production system’s high level of flexibility, it was largely possible to integrate the new BMW 8 Series Coupé into existing production structures. The luxury sportscar, which will roll off the assembly line alongside BMW 5 Series and 7 Series models, relies on tried and tested manufacturing processes. Innovations in the production process In parallel with ramp-up of the new BMW 8 Series Coupé, digitalisation of logistics and production processes in Dingolfing continues apace. For example, in door assembly, parts are delivered to the line by autonomous tugger trains; on the finish line, collaborative robots measure gaps and misalignments. BMW Group Plant Dingolfing increasingly makes use of wearables. These mobile computer technologies worn on the body support staff with their tasks. In addition to the ProGlove smart glove scanner, a so-called “exotics alarm”, for example, will use the vibrating alarm of a smartwatch to alert staff when a car with non-standard equipment options is coming up and requires special attention. Virtual reality glasses have also been used for the first time in training assembly staff: Specific assembly processes for the new BMW 8 Series Coupé were videoed and viewed by employees through VR glasses. This enabled them to familiarise themselves with the new model and the correct fitment process before production ramped up. #world car Like, Share and Subscribe Channel:http://bit.ly/worldcars Intro by: RavenProDesign http://www.ravenprodesign.com 2019 BMW 8 Series, production, bmw car factory, bmw m8 2019
