Understanding your Car's Steering & Power Steering !

Please check out https://brilliant.org/LearnEngineering and learn about more fascinating mechanisms similar to steering. You can sign up for free and the first 200 Learn Engineering viewers will get 20% off the annual premium subscription. Birlliant.org follows a bite-sized learning approach using interactive 2D animation. I have personally learned a lot from their website. When you learn to drive, the most difficult control to master is that of steering. Do you know there are some amazing physics and mechanisms beneath the steering wheel, which keeps the vehicle on the right track without any skidding of the wheels. This video will demonstrate why we need such mechanisms for steering, and how they work. We will also understand the workings of power steering mechanisms. Antique Dented Oiler - Perfect Restoration

In this video i'm restoring an antique dented oiler. My friend found this oiler in the steel waste at the recycling station. I really liked the unique design of it and I bought it from him for $5. It almost had no rust, but it was very dirty and had a lot of dents. The tricky part of this restoration was definitely the removing of all the dents in the can. I want to say thank you to my friend who helped me with this and to his boss, who allowed him to use the tools from his work place. Check out his website (www.huegli.swiss), they do car body repair in Zurich Switzerland. I'm very happy how it turned out and I really like the new look of the oiler. I'll keep this oiler in my shop and I'm going to use it from now on. I hope you like my work and the video. transmision automatica 3d 002

Which is better: Manual or Automatic transmission? This debate has been present for the last seven decades. Manual and automatic transmissions are completely different technologies, which use different configurations and principles. One is based on a simple gear pair, while the other is based on a planetary gear set. One uses a torque convertor, while the other uses a clutch pack. We will do a logical comparison of these technologies in this video.
