EVERYONE Said 33’s Would Rub On My Lifted Tacoma!! *BIG MISTAKE*

Bros FOURR Speed Merch!! https://teespring.com/stores/bfs-store?page=1 Help us reach 200,000 SUBSCRIBERS! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVx5ZqHmGq1PZE_4GUxIe8w Let's unveil my newly lifted 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road!! You have all seen the previous videos where I show the entire lift kit, wheels and tires. And then the two separate installation videos. First installation video we show how to install upper control arms and struts up front on the Tacoma. Second installation video we install the add a leaf pack and upgraded rear shocks. We had a ton of comments from people saying that the +10 offset on my RTX wheels along with the 33 X 12.5 Nitto tires would be way too big! They said rubbing on the fender liners and parts of the cab would be inevitable! I planned out this lift for a long time and was confident the specs I went with would have perfect fitment. However when at the tire shop getting everything mounted and balanced, when they put the front wheel on, it rubbed on the upper control arm! So we thought there was an issue and scrambled a bit to figure out the best way to solve the 33in tire rubbing issue. Turns out the wheel was just placed on the hub and was being held there at an angle which caused it to rub. ;) After bringing the completed set of RTX wheels and Nitto tires back home, we installed them just as planned and had absolutely no rubbing! We did not need wheel spacers or anything. I think I went with the perfect specs for everything and overall installing this 3in lift kit on my 2017 Toyota Tacoma went very well! I got the exact look I was going for and everyone was wrong when they said I'd have to cut the fenders and do a cab chop! Honestly I was expecting some rubbing, and we were actually shocked I had a good inch of clearance even at full lock. The lift kit on the Tacoma along with the wheel setup is perfect! *** We have BFS Decals!! Send $2 via PayPal to brosfourrspeed@gmail.com indicating your color preference and Shipping address! (red, blue, bronze, black) US Shipping only *** Front install: (Upper control arms and struts) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1c0yfm7GXQ Rear lift install: (leaf pack and shocks) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hu143CBfkmg Unbox: (everything I bought) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcMd5BOT1pQ In today's video we mount and balance the new wheels and tires!! This is a pretty aggressive set up as you will see, we had some "rubbing" issues at first, but once we got home to evaluate everything, I have zero rubbing and no need for a cab mount chop! I will have a detailed install and before/after measurements so stay tuned for the rest of the build for the Tacoma by subscribing to our channel! TACOMA TEARDOWN - Lifting my new truck!!

THIS is the ICON Stage 9 Lift kit I used in this video: http://bit.ly/2GCiDEv Check out Brians Channel HERE: https://www.youtube.com/briansmobile1 (Hes awesome, tell him hi for me.) THE DAY HAS COME!! Its time to lift my brand new 2018 Toyota Tacoma. This baby is less than 3 months old and has 6000 miles on the current suspension. And its time to do some upgrading. This Icon Vehicle Dynamics lift kit is adjustable and adds about 3 inches of lift in both the front and the rear tires. Which is perfect for my use. Usually when you add more than 3 inches, you have to do some adjustments to the drive train and gearing. And I aint about that life. I just want some extra inches of height and a smoother ride off road, so the 3 inches Icon offers is perfect. This video will show the basics of the lifting process for all Tacomas 2016 and after... (Until the next model comes out.) The Icon lift is here: http://bit.ly/2GCiDEv Icon Instagram is here: https://www.instagram.com/ivdsuspension/ Let me know if you have any questions! Automotive stuff is pretty fun. THIS IS A DANGEROUS PROJECT!! ONLY ATTEMPT IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. THIS IS NOT SOMETHING YOU WANT TO ATTEMPT ON A WHIM. IT LOOKS EASY ON CAMERA, CAN VERY EASILY DESTROY A VEHICLE IF DONE WRONG. Or you know... kill you. Try to avoid doing that.
