We are glad to introduce our brand new self-built camper. After hard work and long hours, we are happy with the result. This van gives great travel autonomy along with luxury chalet comfort. This is our first built and we are not professionals, and just figure out things as we go. Designed for all possible activities and adventures. Luck of windows on the sides makes it convenient city apartment but primary it was designed for traveling and adventure lifestyle. It has a huge amount of storage for your gear (it can even fit a full-size bicycle on the back in the trunk). You can be autonomous for several weeks (or till your next grocery shopping). 3 persons can travel/sleep in the van. It’s basically a mini studio apartment where you have a 140 cm large bed. Second bed is the sofa which is about 63cm wide. 50cmx110cm openable desk and huge cooking area. Van is designed for an option of making a passage to the front seats (in case they will be changed). It can be easily modified to carry surfboards inside of the van, so you don’t have any expensive gear exposed outside. It took us around 2 months to complete this project and we can definitely say that it was a great experience for us. IMPORTANT: We are not teaching how to do things, but only sharing what we’ve done. TECHNICAL DETAILS: Freshwater: 60 Liters under the sink (2x30L tanks with quick release connection). There is enough storage space to double up your water capacity. Grey water: 60 Liters tank is installed under the van with easy discharge handle. Hot water: the system is not installed on this model of the van. Shower: integrated into the furniture on the entrance with 100% waterproof epoxy pain. Same space is used also for the toilet. By integrating shower and toilet you have a lot of free space in the van and it feels much bigger and more spacious. You can also use the shower hose straight outside of the van to wash your feet or rinse your gear from salt or dirt. Heating: Eberspacher Airtronic D2 heater is installed onboard along with complete isolation of the van prior to build. Consuming from 100 to 280 ml of Diesel per hour. Solar Panels: 2 x140W NDS solar panels with a digital manager with a possibility to charge up to 20AH. Batteries: 2x100aH NDS Gel batteries Battery management: You can fully control your batteries from NDS iManager onboard. 220V: 600 W inverter is onboard so you can charge all your gadgets and computers. Fridge: 29 Liters Mobicool fridge which runs from 12V. Water pump: Fiamma aqua 8 Kitchen stove and tap from Dometic MO 9722L and TAP AC 539 Trunk size: 140cm large x 200cm x 130 cm high approximately. The trunk is heated from the heating system. Lights: 2 LED stripes and 5 led lamps to create a strong daylight (great for cooking or for work). Safe box: attached to the van with 4 metal screws which are only removable from inside of the safe box. Gives you a piece of mind when you leave your van with your valuables. Gas: 5 liters from Campingaz so you can change it everywhere in Europe. Shoe cupboard: can fit up to 12 pairs of shoes. Windows: only on the ceiling of the van. 1x 40x40cm with ventilator and 1 x 50x50cm above the bed. WEIGHT: 3130 kg with 90 liters of water, full fuel tank and everything inside. CAR DETAILS: Car Model: Citroen Jumper L3H3 which is 599 cm long and about 225 cm high inside of the van. Why this model? Because Fiat Ducato, Citroen Jumper, and Peugeot Boxer are identical models and they are the largest vehicles compare to other brands, so you can place a bed the same as we did! Also, the interior is longer with same overall length, which means that you can fit more things! 2017 Mercedes E-Class Crash Test - Better than five stars The E-Class's occupant safety, child safety, pedestrian protection and assistance systems have been awarded a five-star Euro NCAP rating. The Saloon was a particularly deserving recipient of this top rating since in the crash tests in all four categories it significantly outperformed the standard required by Euro NCAP in order to attain the top score of five stars. Category Result E-Class Five-star cut-off Occupant safety 95% 80% Child safety 90% 75% Pedestrian protection 77% 60% Assistance systems 62% 50% The E-Class Saloon also achieved two Euro NCAP "Advanced" awards for PRE‑SAFE® and ATTENTION ASSIST – both awards go beyond the star rating and underline particular safety innovations. The E-Class Saloon owes these impressive results primarily to the combination of its high-strength passenger safety cell with highly effective restraint systems and the large number of driver assistance systems on board. Active Brake Assist, for example, is a standard feature. It is able to warn the driver of impending collisions, provide support with emergency braking and, if necessary, apply the brakes autonomously. Likewise included as standard are ATTENTION ASSIST with adjustable sensitivity, which can warn the driver of inattentiveness and drowsiness, and Crosswind Assist. Other driver assistance systems are available as an option, including DRIVE PILOT, which marks a further milestone on the road to automated driving, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist and Traffic Sign Assist with wrong-way warning function. Some of these optional systems, however, have not yet been taken into consideration in the Euro NCAP assessment. Active and passive safety are intelligently combined with the PRE-SAFE® system, which is able to recognise critical situations on the road and, where there is the threat of an accident, trigger preventive measures to protect the occupants. PRE‑SAFE® Impulse Side is available as an option for the E-Class for the first time. If it detects the immediate threat of a lateral collision, this new subsystem is able to move the driver or front passenger away from the danger zone as a preventive measure, effectively creating a virtual crumple zone for the side of the vehicle. Another new feature is the standard PRE-SAFE® Sound system. Immediately before a collision it can trigger a natural protective reflex in the ear, preparing the occupants for the noise of the accident in order to reduce potential damage to their hearing. Mercedes-Benz takes the protection of more vulnerable road users such as children very seriously. This also applies to pedestrians and cyclists. The E-Class Saloon features an active bonnet which can be raised 80 millimetres during an impact to provide additional deformation space. In addition Active Brake Assist is not only able to recognise slow-moving, stopping or stationary vehicles but also pedestrians crossing in the danger zone in front of the vehicle and can brake autonomously to prevent a collision with a pedestrian. With features such as these, the E-Class's impressive pedestrian protection standards far exceed statutory requirements. The E-Class Saloon's success in the Euro NCAP rating is the result of Mercedes‑Benz's holistic safety philosophy. Instead of focusing solely on rating requirements, the company uses findings from its own accident research to develop internal test standards and test criteria that go beyond what is required by law.
Designed specifically for active outdoor enthusiasts, the all-new Winnebago® Revel takes a no-nonsense approach to adventure, with straightforward design and function-driven features. Taking full advantage of the proven 4×4 Mercedes-Benz® Sprinter chassis, the Revel’s 3-liter turbo-diesel puts 325 lbs./ft. of torque through an on-demand 4WD system, complete with high/low range and hill descent mode for added off-road capability. Inside, the Revel’s unique features start with a floorplan designed around a 140-cu. ft. gear garage with a power lift bed. A full galley, including a 2.5-cu. ft. compressor refrigerator, makes meal prep a breeze, while the all-in-one wet bath and gear closet boast a cassette-style toilet that eliminates the need for a separate black water holding tank. Add a standard solar power system, diesel-powered heating, a dinette with a pull-up table that converts to additional sleeping space, and many more innovative features and the result is the new Revel: quite simply the most off-road capable RV Winnebago has ever built.
Luxury lounge: the interior Freedom is the defining design feature with a new luxury slant. This explains the A8’s resemblance to a lavish, spacious lounge. Compared to the predecessor model, it has grown substantially in length in both body versions. The range of equipment and materials is extensive, with every detail radiating superlative bespoke quality – from the perforation in the seat upholstery to the electrically opened and closed shutters on the air vents. The classiest seat in the new Audi flagship model is in the rear right – the optional relaxation seat in the A8 L that comes with four different adjustment options and a footrest. In this seat, the passenger can warm and massage the soles of their feet on a unit with multiple settings incorporated into the back of the front-passenger seat. The new comfort head restraints complete the experience. The rear passengers can also control an array of functions such as ambient lighting, the new HD Matrix reading lights and seat massage, plus make private phone calls, via a separate operating unit. The rear seat remote, with its OLED display as large as a smartphone, is a removable unit housed in the center armrest. Fingertip response: the controls The luxury sedan’s interior deliberately adopts a reductive design; the interior architecture is clear and with a strictly horizontal orientation. Audi carries its high quality standards into the digital age with a radically new operating concept. It does away with the familiar rotary pushbutton and touchpad of the predecessor model. The instrument panel is kept largely clear of buttons and switches. At its center is a 10.1-inch touchscreen display which, when off, blends almost invisibly into the high-gloss black surround thanks to its black-panel look. The user interface appears as soon as the car is opened. The driver controls the Infotainment system with fingertip control on the large display. They can use a second touchscreen display on the center tunnel console to access the air conditioning and comfort functions as well as make text inputs. When the driver activates a function in the upper or lower display, they hear and feel a click by way of confirmation. The glass-look operating buttons respond in the same way. The combination of acoustic and tactile feedback along with the use of common touch gestures such as swiping make the new MMI touch response especially safe, intuitive and quick to use. The A8 can also engage in intelligent conversation. The driver can activate an array of functions in the automobile using a new, natural form of voice control. Information on destinations and media is either available on board or is delivered from the cloud at LTE speed. The extensive Audi connect range also includes traffic sign recognition and hazard information – innovative car-to-X services that draw on the swarm intelligence of the Audi fleet. The extensively optimized navigation is another new feature: It is self-learning, based on the route just driven. This provides the driver with intelligent search suggestions. The map also incorporates highly detailed 3D models of major European cities. interior Features Floating image: the head-up display Top technology: the MMI navigation plus Car-to-X: traffic sign information and hazard information An array of other services: Audi connect Central access point: the new myAudi app Groundbreaking: navigation with lots of new features Digital access to the car: the Audi connect key 400 custom functions: personalization Virtual click: the MMI touch response operating system High hit rate: keyword search with hybrid concept Full HD: the Audi virtual cockpit Floating image: the head-up display A short action: the electric door lock Full sensory experience: the new luxury slant Indulgent comfort: the seats First-class travel: the relaxation seat Compact-format operating convenience: the rear seat remote As you choose: new phone solutions Clean, fresh air on board: the air quality package Exclusive top engine: the W12 The W12 will follow in 2018 in the new A8 L as the supreme, highly refined top engine version. With its two twin scroll turbochargers, it develops 430 kW (585 hp) from a displacement of 5,950 cm3. Its 800 Nm (590.0 lb-ft) of torque is available constantly between 1,300 and 5,000 rpm. Like the 4.0 TFSI, the twelve-cylinder engine features COD (cylinder on demand) technology. At low loads and engine speeds, it shuts down the left-hand cylinder bank to trim fuel consumption. The new Audi A8 and A8 L are being built at the Neckarsulm site and will appear on the German market in late fall 2017. The starting price for the A8 is EUR 90,600, with the A8 L starting at EUR 94,100.
